Tripp André

Tripp André is a music performer, administrator, and mentor that enjoys working with kids and providing services to others. Tripp came from a musical family and has been a percussionist for 13 years. Tripp earned a BM in Percussion Performance and an MA in Arts Administration, both from the Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL. He has many years of experience working with children in various capacities. He has five summers of experience at Camp Boggy Creek in Eustis, FL, helping children with life-threatening illnesses have the best week of their lives. Tripp has also worked as a music teacher and mentor in various FSU roles, serving as a Percussion Assistant in four consecutive Tri-State Band Festivals and two straight FSU Summer Music Camps.

Tripp loves being outside, especially on sunny days. He goes out running whenever he can, but also enjoys taking reflective outdoor walks. Tripp was born in Cincinnati, OH, and lived in the state of Florida from 2001 until 2017. Tripp recently relocated to Spray, OR to begin his work with AmeriCorps.
