Tripp André

Tripp André is a music performer and educator that enjoys mentoring kids and working with youth arts nonprofits. Tripp earned a BM in Percussion Performance (2015) and an MA in Arts Administration (2016), both from the Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL. He has many years of experience working with children, ranging from summers at Camp Boggy Creek in Eustis, FL, to middle and high school band camps across central and north Florida, to his current work with AmeriCorps and Ethos. Tripp aspires to a career in the nonprofit arts sector and is currently serving as the Rural Music Facilitator in Spray, OR.

Tripp is obsessed with numbers and statistics, which he applies to all aspects of life. He is also a self-proclaimed heliophile and intentionally runs in 107-degree weather. He was born in Cincinnati, OH, and lived in Florida from 2001 to 2017. Tripp relocated to Oregon in September 2017 and hopes to remain in the Pacific Northwest.
