Ethos/IFCC Rental Information
Ethos/IFCC has a dance studio, an art gallery, a theater and kitchette. The whole space is ADA accessible and available for a diversity of performances, meetings, exhibits, workshops, special events and parties. Ethos/IFCC supports both new and established theater companies, artists and community members by offering affordable rates for creative space. Our guests are partners who share in our vision; they actively promote cultural diversity, challenge audiences, foster creativity and encourage innovation.

The Theater
Ethos/IFCC’s theater is an unique venue for a production of theater, music, dance or other presentation. Featuring video and broadcast capabilities, the theater offers a cozy, cheerful experience for show-goers and crafts-persons alike. We’ve hosted board meetings, film screenings, talk-backs, one-acts, musicals, children’s shows and even an opera.

* One green room and two large Equity standard dressing rooms with bathrooms, showers and lockers

* Hardwired head sets through out building
* The Theater is a fully equipped television studio with three robotic cameras and a hand held which feed into a live editing suite in the booth. Live broadcast capabilities. Use of this equipment may be made available on a case by case basis. Video equipment inventory here.

Cultural Events at Ethos/IFCC
Ethos/IFCC Seeks Proposals Throughout the Year!
Ethos/IFCC is seeking proposals for its first artist residency program! With its newest location, Ethos provides a venue for vibrant cultural events which make use of all artistic backgrounds to celebrate diversity.
Resident artists will challenge our community’s ways of thinking about institutional performance and gallery spaces by curating use of the entire IFCC building – the gallery, dance studio and theater. A series of cultural events throughout the year will make Ethos/IFCC a destination where the Portland community regularly interacts with and celebrates our city’s unique artistic vibe and cultural diversity.
Individuals or group collaborations may apply to curate 2 to 4 week long cultural events that focus on the following goals:
- Celebrates and builds awareness of a specific culture through many different art mediums
- Builds community through the arts by providing high quality activities and events for all ages
