Laurel Crafton

Laurel Crafton, a music educator for over 10 years, has dedicated herself to providing equitable music instruction for all children. Growing up playing viola and bass in orchestra and jazz groups, she graduated in 2011 with a degree in Music Education and Music Performance from the Chicago College of Performing Arts. Through the generous support of Ethos Music Center and AmeriCorps, she is offering custom workshops and classes in music and movement aimed to connect students more deeply to themselves, each other and their environment.

Founded in 1998, Ethos provides group classes, private lessons, summer camps and music outreach programs to over 7,000 youth across Oregon. Ethos has been named one of the top 50 after school arts programs by the President’s Commission for the Arts and Humanities on 8 separate occasions.
