Grant Fox

Grant is a musician from Raleigh, North Carolina, currently serving his first year in Madras, OR. He graduated from University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2019 with a B.A. in Music and a minor in Psychology. His instruments of choice include piano, drums, guitar, and ukulele. In his free time you can catch him playing/listening to music, reading, gaming, or being out in nature.

Following his AmeriCorps service, Grant will be pursuing a master’s degree for music therapy. Music therapy helps people strengthen relationships, lengthen attention span, work through difficult emotions, and even improve communication, speech and language—all with the help of music (as defined by harmonymusictherapy.com).

During his time at Buff Elementary, Grant hopes to cultivate an appreciation for music in his students in fun and engaging ways.
