Sara Henshaw
Preschool & Early Childhood, Voice and Hand Drums
Sara graduated Evergreen State College in 2002 having studied music and philosophy. She moved to Portland in 2003 and found work as a pre-school teacher, which led her to follow her passion of teaching music. She describes her journey as being incredible and is grateful “to make a living doing what [she] loves.”
Though she plays music in various music projects, her focus is on singing, flute and hand percussion. Additionally she is working on a few children’s books that are being illustrated by friends and the Space Ship Earth Collective. Sara says “Give thanks for the sweet, sweet music.”
