Megan Moran

Megan Moran joined Ethos Music Center in 2008 through AmeriCorps, as a Rural Music Facilitator in Central Oregon.  She is part of a team of four facilitators who teach general music, lessons, and organize music events in Fossil, Condon, Long Creek, and Monument, Oregon.  She is currently enjoying teaching a broad spectrum of music genres and instruments to students K-12 in a beautiful and unique environment.  Now in her second year of service, Megan ha been selected as the regional leader for Ethos’ Rural Music Facilitators.

A native to the Northwest, Megan  graduated from Lewis and Clark College with a Bachelor of Arts in violin performance.  Prior to being an RMF, she was a music librarian for the Oregon Symphony, Aspen Music Festival, and Pink Martini.  She still freelances with orchestras in Portland, Yakima, and Pendleton, as well as the Wheeler County Ramblers in Fossil, OR.
