Jami Moore
Jami Moore was first able to work with Ethos in the summer of 2008 as a volunteer, working with several choirs in the Ethos summer music camps. Having fallen in love with the organization, she joined the staff of Ethos through AmeriCorps the following year and is now one of four Rural Music Facilitators stationed in Central Oregon. She is currently serving as a teacher of general music for K-12 in the towns of Long Creek and Monument, as well as working to advocate music in these communities.
Born and raised in Boardman, Oregon, Jami graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from Pacific University in 2007. After that, she moved to Washington, DC to complete her Master of Arts in Musicology from the Catholic University of America in 2009. She is an avid vocalist and flautist, and constantly seeks to expand her horizons by discovering music from all nations and eras. In short, she’s never met music she didn’t like.
