Clara Hemsteter
Clara E. Hemsteter was born and raised in the greater New Orleans region but studied education with emphasis on general and instrumental music at St. Olaf College in Minnesota. As she has played clarinet since fourth grade, she specializes in the woodwinds but during her student teaching internship taught all band instruments for a rural middle and high school and strings for an urban school during her junior internship. She looks forward to creating lasting music and fostering a greater sense of community within Fossil and Condon, Oregon.
