Amoree Lovell

Amorèe Lovell studied Music Performance and Broadcast Journalism at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where she received her B.A. in 1996. She moved to Portland, Oregon in 2000 to pursue more performance and teaching opportunities. She currently holds the “Portland’s Best Musical Score” award from the 48 Hour Film Project Festival. She believes that students do best when learning songs they like, whether it be Beethoven’s 5th or the Hobbits’ Theme from Lord of the Rings. Within her lessons she focuses on musical theory and individual expression.
