Adam began studying music at the age of eleven. Born and raised in Miami, Florida, he first became attracted to the drums by being exposed to the many diverse sounds and rhythms in his hometown. After initially studying Latin and Caribbean music with educator Chuck Silverman, Adam has explored many other styles of music to continue his growth taking him in new directions. He takes special interest in the art of teaching and enjoys sharing his passion for music and rhythm with students of all ages. His lessons are tailored to meet the interests or goals of each student with sensitivity to diverse learning styles. His approach to teaching covers listening/reading skills, technique, and musicality with an emphasis on the creative process, self-awareness and improvisation.
